Performance Piece
Tet tet tet (888) is a performance piece (15') created and performed by Diona Kusari. The performance deals with obsession and desperation, and explores the repetitiveness of our dualistic thinking.
The piece incorporates slow, subtle movements, mimics religious rites and explores synchronicity and repetitive action as a key practice of spiritual discipline, by taking the hegemonic voice of societal structures that we carry inside our homes, bodies, and private spaces as a starting point. The performance is an effort to channel, exaggerate and ultimately transmute the blockage and compulsion mania.
This performance piece was created during the School of Disobedience' Masterclass on Dance and Performance in November 2024 and was performed for the first time at Galeria 1111 in Budapest, Hungary.
